*Jade (Nephrite) is known as the Gemstone for Good-Luck and Fortune.

A Little History

Jade (Nephrite) is said to have been around for approximately 6,000 years and in Ancient China and today, Jade has always held the highest position over all other Gemstones and is highly valued and honoured in Chinese culture.

It is said that whoever touches Jade is truly blessed in life.

Throughout history and the world Jade has been used as a talisman to bring the wearer good-Luck, good fortune, good friendships, and a good life, is also said to protect the wearer from harm.

There are two different types of Jade that work on the Mind, Body and Soul in different ways and they both contain different compositions (Nature of constituents of how something is created) as below:

Nephrite - Rich in Magnesium and also contains Calcium and Iron.

Jadeite - Rich in Aluminium and also contains Sodium and Silicate.

*We personally prefer to use the Nephrite type of Jade due to them being rich in Magnesium as this mineral is excellent for the Heart, Mind and Skeletal health.
